This is my own
innovative recipe. My twist on the regular rava kesari is that I have added
almond for more nutrition, taste and flavour.
Almond Rava Kesari
No. of Servings : 3
Ingredients
Rava / sooji - 1 cup
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Water - 1 1/2 cup
Milk - 1 cup
Almond - 25
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Salt a pinch
Preparation
Method
1. Blanch almond and grind it to paste with 1/2
cup water.
2. Fry rava in ghee till a nice aroma comes and
keep aside.
3. In a non-stick kadai, mix remaining water, milk
and ground almond paste and bring it to a boil.
4. Add the fried rava, stirring continuously. Add sugar and mix well.
5. Mix for 5 minutes.
6. Serve with almonds or any nuts.
